The Calgary Miniature Pylon Racing Association organized a busy weekend of pylon racing that included Electric Formula 1 (E-F1), and AMA 426 & 424 Quickie 500 classes. Thanks to a large group of visitors from Montana and Washington, the E-F1 event had the highest number of participants ever for E-F1 racing in Canada. Thanks to everyone from Montana for making the trip to Alberta, we had a lot of fun and hope to see you all again soon. In Quickie racing (AMA426), Roy Andrassy flew an incredible 59.83 heat! The points for Q500 AMA426 are available on the contest results page. Some photographs are available for viewing.

A special announcement was made after the racing action was over. Jim Smith of Saskatoon made a very generous donation to the CPPRA to pay off the lighting system purchased 2 years ago by the club. Thank you very much Jim!!
